Over 100 stalls, childrens activities, live enetertainment, football theme, delicious food, Punch & Judy and a whole lot more.  This is the only day of the year when Pond Square, the very heart of Highgate Village, is filled with entertainment and events for the whole family – and much of it is free.  The Fair is a giant street party, organised by the community for the community with the support of the Highgate Literary and Scientific Institution, The Highgate Society, The Highgate United Reformed Church and St Michael's Church.  Charities and local societies will be amongst the 100 stalls selling a vast choice of items - jewellery, plants, books and clothing.  No one will go hungry with a hog roast, sausages, cupcakes, international cuisine, cheese stalls, wine tastings and ice cream.  The children's marquee, sponsored by Cass Kids, will have face painters and a giant mural for budding young artists to draw on.  There will be Punch and Judy shows, roundabout rides and bungee jumping as well as Miss Ballooniverse and stilt walkers and jugglers from Jackson's Lane Community Centre.  To celebrate the World Cup there will be a football skills game where entrants can "kick it like Rooney". Live entertainment on the stage in the Square will feature local dancers, musicians and singers as well as a steel band and other exciting acts   The dog show,  organised by PetVet, will be looking for Highgate’s dog which is “most like it’s owner” as well as other categories.  (Entrance in advance only - see website for details).
