Hey there
I just had to share my dining out experience with everyone! We found a great Indian Restaurant in East Finchley - in between East Finchley and Muswell Hill. It's called Rasoi and the food is absolutely sensational - I kid you not ! The staff have obvious passion and delight, taking as much care over how the food looks and how it tastes, they seem to love explaining the dishes to you as some of them are a little out of the ordinary Indian restaurant fayre.
The place is a real find, in fact, I'm sorry that I've said anything now .. I'll probably never be able to get a table there again - now that the word's out ...

Thanks for that ! I will give it a go... Do you like Italian as well? If so, there's a great place on East Finchley High Street called Va Pensiero, I had the best Italian meal I have had in ages, the food is to die for. The restaurant is warm and inviting, neither down market nor pretentious... very comfortable and relaxing. I WILL be returning. Highly recommended.
