Still on the subject of restaurants .. has anyone tried the little Italian place in East Finchley Village yet? I have heard that it may be worth a go but I'm not sure if this is the place .. I think it's called La Rugoletta and apparently you can take your own wine. Has anyone eaten there and if so is it good?

The food is great as is the atmosphere and service, their pizzas are huge and the lasagne is fantastic. Try it. Just keep the noise down when you leave I live a few doors down LOL

The food is great but the restaurant isn't big enough. Be prepared to wait up to 40 minutes even if you have booked a table. Understand they have applied to extend the space. Its worth the wait though.
