Hi, I have just moved to Lucas Gardens. I was wondering if anyone knew of any cut throughs/alleys when walking to East Finchley station which make the walk a bit quicker?

I used to live there for several years. Quickest walking route is down Long Lane, left onto Church Lane and first right. Looks like a dead end but there's a pedestrian walkway at the end which cuts across a couple of streets. Once out of the walkway, just keep going straight ahead until meeting East End Road. Cross that and go down Deanery Close which opens out into the station car park.
